San Clemente Little League

Terms of use

A short set of rules for a volunteer rota. Using the site means agreeing to them.

What this is

A scheduling tool for the two San Clemente Little League snack bars, built and run by league volunteers for league families. It is not a commercial service, there is nothing to buy on it, and it is offered free to people the league has registered.

Your sign-in

Sign-in links are sent to the address the league holds for you and are meant for you. Do not forward one — whoever opens it is signed in as you, and if you coordinate a team that includes access to other families’ contact details. If you think somebody else has used your link, sign out and tell us.

If you can see other families

Team parents and board members are shown names, email addresses and phone numbers for other league families. Those are for arranging snack bar cover and nothing else. Do not use them for advertising, fundraising outside the league, recruitment, mailing lists, or pass them to anybody else. This is the one rule on this page we will actually remove somebody’s access over.

Taking a shift

Signing up for a shift is a commitment to the volunteers who would otherwise be covering it. If you cannot make it, give the shift back in the app rather than simply not turning up — that puts it in front of the rest of your team while there is still time. Whether a missed shift matters beyond that is a league matter, not a website one.

Fair use

Do not try to get at parts of the site that are not yours, interfere with it, or automate against it. It runs on a free hosting tier for a youth sports league; there is not much headroom and nothing here is worth taking.

No promises about the software

This is provided as it is, by volunteers, with no warranty. We will try to keep it up and correct, but the league cannot be liable for a missed shift, an email that did not arrive, or the site being down. The snack bar schedule that counts is the one the board holds.

Ending access

Access follows league registration: it starts when you are on the roster and stops when you are not. The board can also remove access from anybody misusing other families’ details.

Changes, and getting in touch

If these change, the date at the top changes too. Questions go to ted.trapp@sclittleleague.com. These terms are governed by the law of the State of California.
